Born in battle, Veteran approved

“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived..”

  • General George S. Patton

BATTLEBORN guarantees that 100% of all money, from production to purchase, goes to veterans.

How can someone make a difference in a veteran’s life? Where do you even start? These were the first two questions we asked when we started this five years ago. Our first attempt was simply raising money. Our second attempt was holding charity events to raise awareness. Finally we settled on supporting charity events with our products and a guarantee that every dollar made will go to a veteran. We proudly say that you don’t just buy a shirt, you make a difference in a veteran’s life. This has been our passion and we hope it becomes yours too. BATTLEBORN!

Our Charity Partner:

The profits made from each shirt you buy are donated to The Ride For The Fallen

The Captain John Odber Ride for the Fallen is an annual event started in 2012 and has raised in excess of $80,000 over the past seven years. All funds raised go directly to support Veteran-focused charities and assist Veterans and their families. We are a 501(c)(19) non-profit Veteran service organization comprised of current serving and honorably discharged Veterans from all services.

The Captain John Odber Ride for the Fallen is pleased to announce its annual giving information. Our giving season begins in February with our winter event, the Pre-Season Riding Bash, and ends in November with our fall event, our Veteran’s Day-oriented party. At the fall event, we will donate the funds raised over the course of the year. Our major event of the year is our Ride for the Fallen that will be held on the Saturday in between Memorial Day and D-Day, 6 June. Each year during this event, we honor five of the 140 Marylanders who have died while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our goal and focus remain on Veteran causes and concerns, specifically Veteran charities and non-profits with a 90% rating or higher.

Our 2019 charitable partners are:

Wreaths Across America. In 2018, we sponsored Ivy Hill Cemetery in Laurel, Maryland. As a result of our efforts, all Veterans buried at Ivy Hill received a wreath on their graves. We will continue this partnership and commitment in 2019.

Disabled American Veterans. In 2019, we continue our partnership with DAV, contributing to their purchase of handicap-accessible vehicles to help wounded Veterans.

Fidos for Freedom. Founded in 1987, Fidos is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization providing service dogs. Our goal in 2019 is to fund a service dog for a Wounded Warrior.
